Christmas in Bullet Points

Since Christmas is behind us, and I don't like to look to the past, I decided to make this post on Christmas short and sweet. Here are some bullet points from Christmas.

  • Travis' boss, Uncle Matt, came with us to Nana and Pops this year and fit right in. We just love our Uncle Matt.
  • There were, at one point, almost 20 people at Christmas, with people sleeping on the floors and couches. Nothing like family at Christmas time.
  • London spent most of the time riding his bike and chasing the dogs around. He still doesn't get Christmas. (Which might I add, is kinda nice for us parents)
  • Travis, Uncle Matt, Uncle Brian, and Uncle Pat played the Wii all weekend and made for some good laughs.
  • Since we had so many laughs, we decided to go out and buy our own Wii. There have already been many late night bowling sessions and Biggest Loser workouts! I love it! Bob is my trainer, and Jillian is Travis'. We will see who is still standing in the end! For those skeptics out there, after the first workout with Bob, I couldn't lift my arms for two days. It's legit!
  • London scored a train table from Mimi and DadDad, which he plays with almost constantly. He also received tons of fun learning games from his Nana and Pops. He loves it all!
Best of all, we spent tons of time as a family. Trav took as much time away from work as possible (and still met all his goals!), which meant a lot to London and I. It was a blast just to hang out and play together. We miss it already.

Something I realized this Christmas break is how much London is looking like his dad. They do everything alike. They have the same facial expressions, are always needing a salty snack, and pretty much love goofing around. They slept in together over the break (something London has never done with his momma) and they enjoyed the finer things in life. It is so cute to see London enjoying his daddy. He is constantly looking for his dads affirmation, which makes me so proud that Travis is such a great dad. He'll always be there.

Here's to a New Year and new adventures.

Oh, P.S.- All you faithful followers out there who are missing Travis, please give him a shout out. If you are missing his posts, let him know. Flood his inbox with love and affection. Maybe that will get him back online. Poor guy just needs a little motivation. Nothing like 200 comments to get him back in the game!
