Well, it has been a week or so since the big news was released. How are you all handling it? I'm telling you over here, it has been rough. Between the throwing up and acid reflux......momma can't catch a break! Not to mentions that my hubby was gone and London has decided at 5:45 is an acceptable time to wake up. Ahhhh!
My latest adventures have led me to the search for foods i can eat. Turns out, not much. Since i am still nauseous all day, there are only a few things that taste good. BUT, after much research, I found out that those foods are on the "unsafe" list for acid reflux. Are you kidding me? So i can either choose to throw up because i don't have enough food in my stomach or I can throw up because of the food i just got In my stomach.
Oh brother.
The saving grace this time around? I know that it ends. With London I felt like these feelings would never end. I even told my OB while in labor, that if all those promises he made about me feeling better after this DID NOT come true, I would kill him. Turns out he was right and is still around to deliver this one too!
My hope this time around is to feel better in less time. With London it was around 26 weeks. Although i had reflux the entire pregnancy. This time, join me in praying for 16. Right before out trip to Oahu. Wouldn't that be nice?
Until then.....all you moms out there, what was your favorite food hike preggo? I might need to give it a try!

Oh Jenn that's the worst. I lost a ton of wait at the beginning of my pregnancies... I ate a lot of saltines, and Taco Bell bean burritos... that's the only thing that I could eat. But this WILL end.
Have you tried fresh or dried papaya for the acid reflux. My doula friend swears by it.
the tomato soup form panera was eatable. do you guys have panera there?
i'm not pregnant but i've been eating nutella like a crazy person. seems safe enough to me, you should try it.
